Barnes Class - Introduction to Photography
Fri 30 September 2016, 10:00 – 12:00 BST
This session is aimed at anyone who owns a camera, be it smart phone, ‘point and shoot’ or SLR, who would like to know how to take better pictures. We are keeping the session deliberately small in order to ensure true one-to-one attention from Jane.
The session will cover:
- What makes a ‘good’ picture
- What is exposure, aperture and shutter speed and why do we need to know
- Top tips on how to improve your own pictures
The class will be interactive, with opportunities to discuss your own shots and plenty of time to ask questions.
Jane Cox is a well established local photographer specializing in portraits but her work also covers events, still life and corporate work. She works from her home studio or on location. She enthuses about all forms of photography, and loves using her teaching background to share her skills with others with a collaborative approach to learning.
