Needing a little more colour in your life? Then the Barrhead Rainbow Run is just for you. This event is not a race and you do not even have to run - everyone is welcome, there is no age limit, although we ask that under 14s are accompanied by an adult.

The event is a 'fun run' with a twist. Set over a 2km course in Carlibar Park, which you will make your way round twice, there are 5 'colour zones' on the route, and as you pass through each you will be covered in a different colour of powder paint. As you approach the end of your second loop you will make your way through the 'Gauntlet', which is a HUGE inflatable assault course, whilst being covered in more paint.

Due to limited space on the course, and to ensure a safe and enjoyable run, there will be multiple starting times, so choose the one that best suits you when buying your tickets.

Included in your ticket price is your event t-shirt and a paint packet for you to use on you and your friends within the event.

The event will also feature a warm-up stage and come-and-try sports - all within the paint zone!

Outwith the paint zone you can enjoy many funfair rides and stalls from local businesses as you await your race.
