Barshare Retrofit - Community Workshop Event - CoRE Project
Overview
Barshare Retrofit - Community Workshop Event
East Ayrshire Council is hosting a Barshare Retrofit Community Workshop at Rothesay House. As part of the Ayrshire Growth Deal funded Community Renewable Energy (CoRE) project the Council are developing a housing retrofit project for the Barshare area of Cumnock. The project will aim to tackle fuel poverty and carbon emissions through whole building retrofit insulation systems and renewable energy technology.
We want residents to play an active role in shaping development of the project. To do this, we're working with the University of Strathclyde to host a community workshop that explores resident's views on housing retrofit programmes during the early feasibility and pre-construction stages. The aim is to improve how retrofit projects are planned and delivered, making them more inclusive and person centred.
Register now via this Eventbrite invitation. As a thank you for your time, participants will receive a £10 East Ayrshire Gift Card, which can be spent in shops across the area: https://townandcitygiftcards.com/product/east-ayrshire-gift-card/
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!
