Come and learn how simple maintenance can help you avoid costly building repairs and how to undertake a Baseline Building Condition Survey to identify common maintenance issues at your place of worship. You'll be introduced to the survey technique, and we'll then put it into practice surveying St Michael's Church. You'll take away the skills to undertake a condition survey of your own on other buildings. No building knowledge or experience is required - the survey is about looking and recording what you see. We'll also briefly introduce you to the Maintenance Co-operatives Project for places of worship.
All are welcome, but booking is essential. The day is free, and we'll provide a light lunch. For further details contact Sue Manson on 07776 197143 or email@example.com and please let us know about any dietary or access requirements.
