About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Other

This free class is ideal for those with no previous cycle mechanic experience and there will be lots of opportunity for questions and extra cycling tips and tricks. Led by women, for women you will learn at your own pace.

Come to our Women In Tandem workshop at Chaucer Court Workshops, Chaucer Street, Nottingham, NG1 5LP .

Together we will cover:

  • Bike Safety Checks
  • Puncture Repair, including how to remove your back wheel
  • Setting up your bike for maximum comfort and efficiency.

You will need:

  • Your bike
  • Your own refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits provided)
  • Comfortable warm clothing you don’t mind getting mucky (we don’t have heating).

We will provide all the tools and necessary equipment you need for the course but we would always welcome donations.

Each attendee will be given a FREE ‘Essential Bike Repair Kit’ that is yours to take home!

This session is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes.

Note this class is open to self-identifying women.
