Basic Photography Skills (Ages 8+) Saltscape

This fun 'hands-on' workshop has been designed to help young people (aged 8+) learn basic photography skills and connect with their local spaces.

The first part of the session introduces several shooting techniques to help the participants improve their photography.

The second half of the session will challenge the young people to use the new techniques they have learnt in a scavenger hunt. If the weather is good then we will go outside and take photos in the vicinity of the venue. If it's raining the scavenger hunt will be completed inside the venue.

The participants don't need to have their own camera to take part in the activity, we provide all of the equipment. If they do have a camera or a smart phone that they would like to use to take photos during the session this is more than welcome.

All participants must be accompanied by an adult during the session.

Photos that are taken during the session have a chance of being displayed at Saltscape's end of project gallery event.
