Basic Wild Foraging Walk

A wonderful course, spent exploring Claremont Farms, open fields, ancient hedgerows and woodland brooks. Discovering a brilliant variety of edible flowers, plants, foliage and fungi.
This 3 hour course will show you :
- How to forage safely.
- How to identify & pick wild edibles.
- How to prepare & cook them.
- How to combine them to make wild herbal teas and delcious dishes.
The cousre generally invloves a 2 our long walk and explore, followed by an hour spent at our bushcraft basecamp, sampling various wild teas and our forgaged goods cooked over an open fire.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
We recommed kids above the age of 12 so that they get the most out of this course. We will also spent a good 2 hours walking so people need to have a basic level of fitness.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is ample parking at Claremont Farm Cafe and Farm Shop.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We would recommed good strong footwear or wellies, water and a camera. Dogs are also welcome.
