Where can I park?

There is a small car park off of Redbridge Lane. Otherwise you can park on the roads surrounding the site.

Is this event suitable for small children?

Accepted Answer

The event is not suitable for children probably under the age 5, pulling rangwort can be quite a tough job. It would not be advisable to bring pushchairs or buggies due to the terrain of the site. The site will have long grass and is quite hilly.

Question 3

What clothing should I wear on the day?

Accepted Answer

Appropriate outdoor footwear should be worn and you may wish to cover up your skin due to the heat from the sun's rays and the risk of ticks. Don't forget to bring plenty of sun lotion and plenty of water to drink although refreshments will be provided. It may also be advisable to wear a sun hat. Yo

Will food be provided?

Accepted Answer

Although we are providing refreshments in the form of cold drinks teas and coffees, there will not be any food provided on the day so you may wish to bring a packed lunch.

Will there be access to toilets?

Accepted Answer

There are no public toilets on the site so if you're coming with younger children in particular, it would be advised to use the conveniences before arrival.

What will be provided to me on the day?

Accepted Answer

Due to the slight toxic nature of ragwort we will be providing you with gloves. We will also be providing you with a ragwort pulling tool which will help you get the ragwort out of the ground easier.
