Peter Beisty, MPM Legal
Peter has specialised in employment law since 2006 and really enjoys working with a variety of different businesses - from global corporations to small charities. In the words of his clients, Peter works with care, expert knowledge, and complete integrity to advise on sensitive issues in a constructive way.
Peter has a solid grounding in the employment tribunal process and has handled in excess of 250 claims including for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, race and disability discrimination. More recently he has successfully defended claims in both the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Apart from litigation, Peter advises businesses on business protection, service agreements, staff handbooks, and general employment policies and procedures. He also helps businesses manage long term absent employees, take steps to protect their commercial interests when key employees leave, and to resolve tricky or sensitive disputes between managers and senior employees.

Thames Valley Branch is one of the largest CIPD branches in the country with over 4,300 members across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and North Hampshire.
