Find out about the CIPD Profession Map and how to use it, along with gaining an understanding of 'My CPD Map', an online self-assessment tool for CIPD members. My CPD Map can be used to assess your capability against the activities, knowledge and behaviours in the CIPD Profession Map and access recommendations for development.
In this talk Jenni and Frances will illustrate how the Profession Map can act as a guide for your professional journey in HR, and give you a taste of whats to come with CPD support in the future.

Frances is the CPD and Careers Executive at CIPD. Since joining the Careers team during its formation in late 2014, she's been involved in coordinating a number of different work streams aimed at adding value to member's careers; from mentoring schemes and outplacement support, to career workshops and online career management tools.
Jenni is the CPD and Careers Coordinator for the team and joined late last year, bringing a wealth of customer service knowledge to the role. Together, the CPD and Careers team are working towards a learner-driven and collaborative model for CPD that supports he career development needs of HR and L&D professionals everywhere.

CIPD Thames Valley Branch
Thames Valley Branch is one of the largest CIPD branches in the country with over 4,300 members across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and North Hampshire.
We aim to support, inform and inspire everyone who has an interest in people management in the Thames Valley area. We offer an integrated programme of events throughout the year designed to meet the needs of our members, from students to senior practitioners, which provides opportunities for networking and continuous professional development.
