Join us for a free day of speaker presentations, practical one-to-one advice sessions with industry mentors, and essential networking.

Research shows that businesses that innovate are more profitable and more sustainable. Yet innovation can seem like a real challenge if you don’t know who to turn to for practical advice.

We want you to have access to the best advice so that you can successfully create innovate products and services that will help you to grow your business.

To help you get started we’re holding a FREE conference on innovation.

Your key takeaways:

- Practical advice on product, service, and open innovation.
- Learn about the different support that is available to SMEs.
- Hear case studies from successful manufacturing and service companies.
- Find out how you can use innovation to grow your business and get noticed.

We'll also be offering one-to-one advice session with some of the speakers in the afternoon. These advice sessions will need to be pre-booked in advance.

NEPIC's Business Acceleration for SMEs programme.

NEPIC's Business Acceleration for SMEs programme (BASME) helps process sector supply chain firms in the North East to develop their sales to the process sector.

BASME is funded to the sum of £1.5m by the Government's Regional Growth Fund and this amount is match-funded by the process industries. The funding is used to provide free services (events, workshops, and mentoring sessions) to the companies signed up to the scheme.

For its 400 members BASME acts as a gateway to the process sector. The programme aims to help SMEs to further their business networks and increase their sales to the sector by providing its members with access to a strong Cluster network, one-to-one mentoring from senior figures in the sector, and key events.

To join or learn more about BASME or NEPIC please contact Frances Stainthorpe, NEPIC's BASME Programme Marketing and Data Research Analyst.
