Bat walk and talk

Come join us for a fun evening at Moorside park (meet outside Bowlers Hut) to learn all about our nocturnal friends - bats! Our knowledgeable guides will take you on a bat walk around the park, where you can listen to their echolocation calls and maybe even catch a glimpse of them in flight. Before the walk, we'll have a talk about the different species of bats that call this park home. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to explore the world of bats up close!

Please wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear and bring tourch to light the path. Bat detectors will be provided.

Booking is essential. In the event of heavy rain or strong winds the event will be postponed.

Please book no more than 2 slots per family/group to allow as many people to enjoy this event as possible.

Parents and guardians must accompany their children. Walk-ins will not be accepted. If you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or contact us to allow others to participate.

yes but must be kept on a lead that is cloth and doesn't jingle as that can be picked up by the bat detectors.
