Overview
Evening Bat Walk and talk with the Sherbourne Valley Project as part of the City Nature Challenge . We will use the iNaturalist app to record as many wildlife species as possible to put Coventry on the map for the international City Nature Challenge.
As a warning its early in the season so we may only see a few bats as they dont come out until its a little warmer.
We will bring some bat detectors for people to borrow . Please bring a torch
This event is connected to the Torchlight Pond Dipping at Charterhouse for City Nature Challenge which is taking place an hour Earlier . To join the Pond Dipping you need to book your ticket separately

You don't need to have any experience to take part, although we are also hosting training sessions in the weeks prior so you can make yourself comfortable. You don't need to worry about knowing how to identify many species, we will have people on hand to help, and simply uploading a picture will still help us in the challenge! Downloading the iNaturalist app in advance is recommended to reduce your data usage.
We will have a gazebo located between the pond and the bridge going over the River Sherbourne, which will serve as a meeting hub for people joining us to participate.
