Join us for an evening bat walk along the River Dun chalkstream at the National Trust Mottisfont Estate near Romsey.

Guided by an experienced ecologist from the Wessex Rivers Trust, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the ecology and behaviour of these fascinating animals whilst undertaking a unique 2km riverside walk through the National Trusts meadows and woodlands.

Handheld bat detectors will be provided to make the ultrasonic bat calls audible to the human ear.

It is recommended to wear sturdy footwear, wrap up warm and bring a torch. Please be aware this event may be cancelled in the event of rain or high winds.
