How to get here?

We recommend where possible that you travel by public transport - Walthamstow Wetlands is serviced by the 123 and 230 buses from Tottenham Hale and Blackhorse tube stations, or you can walk from either of these.  Please allow plenty of time for your journey as the event will start promptly.

Question 2

Will the event go ahead even if the sky is cloudy/weather is bad?

Yes - unless it isn't safe to do so we will head out on a walk around the reserve.

Question 3

Is there car parking on site?

It is possible to park on site by prior arrangement, for which there will be a car parking charge via the onsite payment machine.  The car park will be open from 7.15pm.

Question 4

Will I definitely see bats?

Although there are bats on site at Walthamstow, and it is likely we will see them, they are wild animals so we cannot guarantee they will show up.  However, accessing the wetlands after hours is an experience in itself, and we will make the evening as fun and engaging as possible.

Why do I have to pay?

Walthamstow wetlands is not accessible 24/7 so the site will be opened especially for this event.  All proceeds go towards covering the costs for the event, and supporting LWT's wider nature recovery work across London.

What if I can't afford a ticket?
