We would recommend not going around the paths at night in a wheelchair. We can however offer you a bat detector to listen (and hopefully see) bats flying overhead in the car park.

We'll provide an initial talk on the island's bats, handout the detectors and show you how to use them. Just after sunset, we will start walking along the paths of Queen's Valley and when we hear bats we will stop the walk and look in the sky for sightings. Our volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions that you have about our island's bats. The walk will take between 1-1.5 hours and we will stop on the bridge to listen and maybe see bats, then cross and return on the alternative path.

Tickets £10 for adults. Children 12 & under are free.

Complete a membership form, instructions available on our website, to get a complimentary membership to the Jersey Bat Group for the rest of 2025 & 2026.

Very windy and very wet weather can puts bats off. The weather forecast will be reviewed 48 hours prior to the event and cancellations will be communicated.
