The next dinner with the Bath Business Partnership will be at Bath Rugby Club with John Glen, MP for Salisbury and Parliamentary Private Secretary to Philip Hammond MP, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Cllr. Tim Warren, leader of BANES Council and Ben Howlett, MP for Bath on Thursday 13th October.
John Glen was educated at King Edward’s School here in Bath and has a wealth of business related experience. John has recently been appointed as PPS to the new Chancellor, Philip Hammond following on from serving as PPS to the Business Secretary. John's role includes relaying backbench concerns and policy suggestions to the Chancellor and co-ordinating ministerial engagements in constituencies across the country. John will be speaking about the Government's plans for business following on from the outcome of the EU referendum and the appointment of a new Prime Minister. Ben and Tim will be speaking on local projects and what the Council is doing to help local businesses and the issues facing them in Bath.
Tickets are £55 which includes drinks on arrival, a three-course dinner and coffee.
