Bath Mindfulness Trail - EXTENDED until 24/01
Event Information
About this Event
Bath Mindfulness Trail is a week-long event in January aimed to provide a day for people to spend alone with themselves, their thoughts and feelings, and activate their senses through simple mindfulness exercises.
To take part people will need to register for a free ticket, receive an online map, pick a trail and bring along their smartphone with access to data and a set of headphones. There will be 3 trails available altogether with 5 stopping points for each trail. At each point there will be a QR code that will lead to a link for a pre recorded audio guided mindfulness exercise dedicated to a specific sense. In addition trail takers will have an opportunity to enjoy a specially designed soundscapes to accompany the walk.
There is no limit of age and abilities, and no previous experience in mindfulness is needed. The trail takers can choose to take one or all three of the trails one or more times. Once registered, the participants will have access to the map of locations throughout the week.
Mental and physical well-being is a very important topic in the current pandemic situation. Fresh air, physical activities and nature are very beneficial to mental health and should be accessible to anyone. While we are denied to socialise and meet with others, Bath Mindfulness Trail encourages you to befriend yourself, learn to appreciate the presence and find magic in the smallest of things.
This event is FREE of charge and is possible thanks to support from your donations (all donations come with an award). Any exceeded funds will be donated to Bath Mind charity to support similar projects.

The city of Bath is abundant in stunning green areas that sometimes can be underappreciated in the everyday busyness. This event will hopefully re-establish the relationships between nature, the individual self and the presence.
