T his years suicide prevention stakeholder event is taking place on the 11th October 2023 (09:30am-13:00pm)
T his is an opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved this last year as well as contributing to influence the local B&NES Suicide prevention strategy and action plan to achieve the overall aim of reducing suicides in our locality.
Throughout the morning, we will:
• Explore the latest work into suicide prevention.
• Understand and share what is happening locally.
• Hear from key speakers and partner organisations.
• Share our B&NES suicide prevention action plan and begin planning for the 2024-2027 period.
• Provide opportunities for people to connect and share their experiences and ideas around suicide prevention.
T he agenda is being worked on and will be shared with those who register closer to the time.
There are a few practicalities to note for the morning:
• Access to the Guildhall is through the main reception, the meeting will be in the Banqueting Room. The address is: High Street, Bath, BA1 5AW. The main entrance is on the High Street, this is about 7 minutes’ walk from Bath Spa station, or Bath has a good park and ride service.
• The room will be available from 9am with a prompt start at 9:30am.
• This is a face to face event, so we can work together to do action planning effectively; people will be seated in small groups around tables and free to move around the room during breaks.
• Refreshments will be provided. However, lunch will not be provided. In the interests of sustainability please bring your own reusable coffee cup if you have one.
