About this event
1. The Annual Members’ Day for the Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association (LLA) and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Club will be held on Saturday 27th September 2025 at RAF Coningsby, the home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF).
2. For safety and insurance purposes, there is a limit to the overall number of people who can be on site for the event, which includes members, vendors and BBMF / RAF Coningsby staff.
3. 2,500 tickets are available in total and entry will be on a ticket only basis. Car parking will also need to be booked in advance, however car parking is free of charge.
4. Each Club member can purchase up to four tickets in total, which includes any tickets for children. Under 5's are able to attend the event for free, but an under 5's ticket must be booked in advance. Due to the limited capacity of the event and the need to ensure there are enough tickets to cater for as many members as possible, there are only a limited number of under 5's tickets available so if bringing a child under the age of 5, please book early to avoid disappointment.
5. Tickets can only be purchased by a member of either the LLA or BBMF Official Club, however each member can purchase up to three additional tickets. Additional ticketholders do not need to be members to attend, however they must attend with the member who purchased the ticket. When booking, the Lead Bookers membership number needs to be added to each ticket, however the name and details of each attendee must be detailed. If more than four tickets are booked per member, we reserve the right to cancel additional tickets.
6. Membership Cards and Photo ID are required for entry. Acceptable forms of ID include a Passport, Driving Licence, Buss Pass or Pass Card. Photo ID is required for all attendees over the age of 16.
7. All ticket applications must be made online. Neither the LLA or BBMF Official Club will be able to accept cheques, cash or card payments.
8. Once tickets have been booked, the lead booker will be able to amend their booking online which includes any changes to vehicle registrations, guest names etc. The opportunity to amend bookings will close on Monday 22nd September in order for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to make the final event preparations.
9 . Event tickets can be accessed either by downloading the eventbrite app, or logging into your eventbrite account and downloading your tickets. PDF Tickets are not included in booking emails, and must be accessed via Eventbrite.com where they can be printed, or via the Eventbrite App where you can show your ticket on a mobile device at the gate.
10 . As we are unable to operate Members Day in the event of inclement weather, a judgement call will be made and communicated to ticket holders no later than Thursday 25th September - please do check with your membership club, and on the BBMF Social Media Channels for updates in the lead up to the event. Should the event not go ahead, we will not be able to refund for tickets as we will have already booked and paid for the event infrastructure, however any remaining funds will still go to our chosen charity(s).
Important Note: Any tickets bought via a third party website or ticket re-seller will be invalid, and will not allow access to this event. This is the only official ticketing website. If you are unsure, please contact your membership provider to ensure you have the official link and relevant access code to purchase your tickets.
Tickets for the Members’ Day can only be obtained via Eventbrite. To reveal the tickets relevant to your membership club, please enter the Promo Code that was included in your Members Day email.
If you have any enquiries on the ticketing process, please contact:
LLA Members:
John Ball - john@lancasterassociation.co.uk
Official Club Members:
Jo Burgess - membership@memorialflightclub.com
Please note: Tickets are non-refundable.
Event Day:
Gates to the event open at 10.00am, or when approval to open is given by OC BBMF.
The flying display will be dependent on weather conditions and aircraft serviceability.
Please ensure that your LLA or BBMF Official Club membership is in date and bring your tickets - either printed or as an E-ticket on a mobile device, membership card and photo ID with you, as tickets will be scanned on entry and ID will be checked by a member of the team. You do not need to present your physical/e-tickets for parking - this just needs to be booked in advance for organisational purposes.
Due to the nature of holding an event on an active Royal Air Force base, 100% bag searches will be in operation. If possible, we will endeavour to start these checks from 09.30am, however entry to the event site/access to the park and ride buses will not begin until 10.00am. A "fast lane" will be in operation for those without bags, however you must still enter as a group with the membership holder.
Tickets and ID are required for all attendees over the age of 16.
Parking must be pre-booked in advance to enable the event organisers and parking management company to ensure there is enough car parking available for attendees. Blue badge holders may book a disabled car parking space – blue badges and proof of the parking booking will be required for entry to the disabled car park. There will be road signage within Coningsby Village to follow for access to both the main car park and disabled car park.
Entry via Dogdyke Road is for disabled access only, or in the event of the overflow car park being utilised which will be managed on the day. Please do not use this entrance as a drop-off area and if arriving on foot, please proceed to the park and ride entrance to gain entry via bus.
A park and ride scheme will be operating from the main car park to the BBMF Hangar. The first bus will depart from the car park at 10.00am, and the last bus departing BBMF will be at 16.00pm. The flying display will conclude by 15.00pm and therefore we do politely request that attendees start to make their way to buses at this point to ensure there is plenty of time to on-board all attendees before the last bus.
Buses will be running throughout the day should you need to return to your vehicle, or leave site early, however they may run at a lesser frequency during the flying display.
There is no bicycle storage provided in the main car park, and bicycles cannot be brought onto the Station.
Electric wheelchairs and electric scooters are not allowed in the BBMF hangar.
There is very limited seating available at RAF Coningsby, however attendees are welcome to bring seating such as camping chairs.
Dogs are not allowed at the event, except for assistance dogs or service dogs. Please do not leave dogs in cars as this will be reported via the parking management company and you will be asked to return to your vehicle with no re-admittance.
RAF Coningsby is a strict no smoking or vaping site.
Food and drink is available to purchase from the vendors on site.
Cameras are allowed.
Toilet facilities are provided on site.
Please dispose of your litter in the bins provided as litter can cause serious danger to aircraft.
