Battle of the Vines: Small Plates & Big Scores
Overview
Battle of the Vines returns for its third edition, landing perfectly just as Dry January comes to an end. This event is all about easing you into February with lower and mid strength wines and calorie conscious, but delicious, food pairings designed to elevate the wine tasting experience.
This is a relaxed yet interactive wine tasting for anyone who enjoys good wine, good food and a bit of friendly competition. Whether you are wine curious or confidently opinionated, the focus is on flavour, balance and enjoyment rather than alcohol levels or labels.
The evening is structured as a blind tasting battle across three rounds, white, rosé and red. In each round, guests will be served two wines blind, supported by tasting notes to guide you. Your task is to taste, identify and score each wine out of ten before the reveal.
Each round is paired with a carefully selected small plate, created to complement the wines and show just how well lighter styles perform with food. The aim is simple, to prove that lower ABV wines can still deliver depth, character and real satisfaction at the table.
At the end of the night, scores are totalled and one wine is crowned the Battle of the Vines winner. Results are often surprising and always spark lively debate.
As ever, we will also be running spot prize giveaways throughout the evening, as well as a wine themed quiz to keep things lively. At the last two events, spot prizes were awarded to guests who booked early, so booking your ticket in advance is strongly recommended.
What’s included with your ticket:
• Six blind wines across three rounds
• Calorie conscious small plates designed to pair with each wine
• Tasting notes and score cards

Expect a social atmosphere, plenty of discussion and a few unexpected favourites. This is not a formal tasting, it is designed to be welcoming, engaging and fun.
Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate, so early booking is recommended.
Come curious, come hungry, and let February start the right way.
