About this event

Readers of Crime Fiction rejoice! We will be joined by seven crime writers at the top of their game for a day of author talks, question and answer sessions and book signings as part of our WRITE Festival.

Join Bay Tales Festival Director Vic Watson as she introduces some of the biggest and best crime fiction authors in conversation. We’re delighted to be joined by Fiona Cummins, Emma Flint, M.J. Arlidge, Steph McGovern, John Sutherland, C.M. Ewan and Vaseem Khan.

Whether you fancy writing a novel yourself or are a fan of these novelists, this day is perfect for readers and writers alike. You’ll have the opportunity to hear about the inspiration behind their novels, the ways in which they produce a heart-stopping read and what it’s like to write about crimes from the past.

The final two sessions, inspired by a popular trend on social media, is called Ask Me Anything and is your chance to ask any burning questions that you have. At the end of the day, you’ll be able to meet the authors while they sign your books.

*Please note Steph McGovern will be joining us for the morning sessions and will be doing a book signing during the lunch break.

Tickets £15 per person (plus booking fee). Suitable for ages 16+

This event is part of our WRITE Festival which takes place throughout the whole of September. Enjoy a programme of unmissable events, workshops and performances!
