We are delighted to announce the actress Daisy Edgar-Jones and singer-songwriter, author and model Karen Elson, will be headlining Bazaar at Work Summit this year.

Harper’s Bazaar has always championed the career woman since it was first founded over 150 years ago, and our Bazaar at Work initiative aims to inspire, empower, and inform our readers with the most exciting developments in the world of work.
The Bazaar at Work Summit will be returning on 23rd November 2021 at The Londoner, once again bringing together Britain's most inspiring female thought-leaders from the worlds of finance, fashion, business, wellbeing, and technology for an unmissable day of empowering talks, workshops, discussions and networking opportunities.

Daisy Edgar-Jones, actress
The British actress has played numerous stage and screen roles, but received global recognition in 2020 as Marianne in the BBC adaptation of Sally Rooney’s cult novel Normal People. The part earned her several awards, as well as nominations for a BAFTA and a Golden Globe. She will next be seen starring in the much-anticipated film Where the Crawdads Sing in summer 2022, and is currently filming her leading role in the Hulu limited series Under the Banner of Heaven, opposite Andrew Garfield.
Karen Elson, model
The renowned English model Karen Elson has walked runways for brands including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Valentino and Gucci, and has been the face of countless global fashion campaigns. She is a leading advocate for model rights in the workplace; and her music career has seen the release of two full-length albums, with her third to be released next year.
Jane Wurwand, co-founder of Dermalogica and Wurwand Foundation
As the co-founder and chief visionary of Dermalogica, Jane Wurwand is an entrepreneur and small business supporter whose advocacy for women’s economic empowerment has earned her a platform at the United Nations and The White House. Under her leadership, Dermalogica has grown to be the leading professional skin care brand, used by more than 100,000 skin therapists in more than 100 countries around the world.
Lauren Cuthbertson, principal dancer with The Royal Ballet
Lauren Cuthbertson is a Principal of The Royal Ballet. She studied at The Royal Ballet School, joined the Company in 2002 and was promoted to Principal in 2008. Cuthbertson’s repertory includes leading roles in the classical ballets and works by Kenneth MacMillan, Frederick Ashton, Wayne McGregor and Christopher Wheeldon.
Anna Jones, co-founder of AllBright
Anna Jones is the co-founder of AllBright, the global career network for women, and the co-author of the best-selling business book, Believe. Build. Become. How to Supercharge Your Career. Anna is the former CEO of Hearst UK and was the first female CEO in the company’s 100-year history.
Sharmadean Reid, founder of The Stack World
A former brand consultant and stylist for Nike, ASOS and Arena HOMME+, Sharmadean founded Soho’s coolest nail bar, WAH London, as a side project in 2009. Her mission is to create economic and social empowerment for women through technology and media, and in 2018 she created Beautystack, an app connecting clients with beauty professionals. Earlier this year, Sharmadean launched Beautystack’s ‘evolution’: media platform The Stack World, bringing together ‘a network of like-minded women’ through ‘content and conversations’.
Eva Lindholm, CEO of UBS Wealth Management UK & Jersey
Eva Lindholm is the CEO of UBS Wealth Management UK & Jersey. Prior to joining UBS in 2012, Eva worked for J.P. Morgan for over 20 years in a number of senior product and client coverage roles in the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank, including leading the build out of J.P. Morgan's Corporate Bank in EMEA. Eva serves on the UK Government’s Department of International Trade UK Investment Council and is presently the Chair of the Board of UBS Optimus Foundation UK. Eva previously served on the Board of Transport for London as well its Finance and Policy Committee, from 2006 to 2016.
Kimberley Abbott, founder and CEO of Vested Impact
Kimberley Abbot is the CEO and founder of Vested Impact, a FinTech start-up with a mission to ‘redefine “millionaire” to be a person who impacts millions of lives’. She is also an expert consultant for the United Nations, and has been named as one of the UK’s Top 50 Women in Engineering, Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers, Australia’s 100 Women of Influence and is UBS’ Female Founder Award winner for 2021.
Jane Poynter, founder, Co-CEO and Chief CXO of Space Perspective
An experienced aerospace entrepreneur, Jane Poynter is the co-CEO of the space tourism company Space Perspective. In 1991, she was part of the inaugural two-year mission inside Biosphere 2, the world’s first human-made prototype space base. She was previously the co-founder and president of Paragon, a technology firm that is still used by NASA as part of its exploration of the moon and Mars.
Munnawar Chishty, Global Vice President and Marketing Director at No7 Beauty Company
Munnawar Chishty is responsible for heading up the development of strategy, content, and innovation for brands including No7, Soap & Glory and Liz Earle. Munnawar has been instrumental in driving the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion strategy forward within the No7 Beauty Company and works closely with other members of the leadership team to ensure this remains a priority for the business and its portfolio of brands.
Soma Sara, activist and founder of Everyone’s Invited
In the summer of 2020, Soma Sara founded Everyone’s Invited, an anonymous space for survivors to share their experiences of rape culture. Everyone’s Invited has since provoked the launch of an NSPCC helpline and an Ofsted review in schools. Sara won the 2021 Harper’s Bazaar Activist of the Year award.
Priya Lakhani OBE, founder and CEO of CENTURY Tech
A regular commentator for BBC News, the former barrister Priya Lakhani is the founder and CEO of Century Tech. Lakhani is a non-executive director for DCMS, the UK’s AI Council and Unboxed. She has also been named a Tech Pioneer by WEF, and in 2020 received the MIT Solve award and the Economic Innovator of the Year by The Spectator.
Cate Sevilla, author of How to Work Without Losing Your Mind
Cate Sevilla is a writer and journalist. She's the incoming Editor-in-Chief of HuffPost UK, starting Jan '22, and is the author of How to Work Without Losing Your Mind (Penguin Business).
Charlotte Fox Weber, founder and former Head of School of Life Psychotherapy
Charlotte Fox Weber is a psychotherapist and writer. She founded The School of Life Psychotherapy in 2015 and is writing her first book, What We Want, which will be published by Wildfire in Summer 2022. Charlotte is also the co-founder of Examined Life, a collective of psychotherapists.
Dr Roopa Farooki, NHS Junior Doctor, Author, Lecturer at the University of Oxford
Roopa Farooki is a junior doctor, the author of eight books and a recipient of the John C. Laurence Prize from the Authors’ Foundation. She is also a lecturer for Oxford University’s Masters in Creative Writing course and, in 2020, she was awarded the Junior Doctor Leadership Prize from her NHS Trust. Her next book, Everything Is True, A Junior Doctor's Story of Life, Death and Grief in a Time of Pandemic (Bloomsbury), is out in January 2022.
Zoe Cunningham, Director of Softwire
Zoe Cunningham is an award-winning technology professional and Director of Softwire, a Sunday Times “Best Places to Work 2021”. She won Business Leader of the Year at the Women in IT Awards 2019 and has published three books. Zoe is a member of YPO, the global leadership community of extraordinary chief executives.
Dame Helena Morrissey, chair designate at AJ Bell and founder of 30% Club
Baroness Morrissey has three decades of experience in financial services, including 15 years as the CEO of investment bank Newton. She founded the 30% Club in 2010 and the initiative reached the target of having 30% female representation on FTSE 100 boards in 2018. Her second book, Style and Substance: A Guide for Women Who Want to Win at Work, published by Piatkus, is out now.
Edeline Lee, fashion designer
Edeline Lee is a fashion designer whose pieces emphasise femininity of form. She graduated with a first from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Fashion Design, Womenswear and has received strong support from women in the art world since setting up her own label in 2014. Her work has been worn by stars such as Olivia Colman, Gemma Chan, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Helen Mirren, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Swift and Solange Knowles. All her pieces are made by hand with love and care in England.
Polly McMaster, CEO & Founder, The Fold
The founder of The Fold, the clothing brand for professional women, comes from a world of consulting and finance. She has a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Cambridge and went on to start her career at L.E.K. Consulting and Apax Partners, before completing an MBA with distinction at the London Business School. In 2013, Management Today voted Polly one of its ‘35 under 35’ businesswomen.
Anna Berkeley, style consultant
Anna has worked in fashion for over 26 years as a buyer and consultant for high-end and high-street brands, including Selfridges, Prada, Margaret Howell and Reiss. Anna is a body shape expert and now works with private clients and designers as a consultant and stylist.
Jane Shepherdson CBE, chair of My Wardrobe HQ
After joining Topshop in 1985, Jane Shepherdson became its brand director in 1997, transforming the high-street retailer into a global fashion brand. She has worked with Oxfam as a creative advisor to rebrand stores, and led a management buy-in of Whistles in 2008, when she became its CEO until 2016. She joined the luxury fashion-rental platform My Wardrobe HQ as chair in October 2019. She is also the director of the London Fashion Fund, has an honorary Phd from UAL and is an honorary professor at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Jo Glynn-Smith, transformation coach
Jo Glynn-Smith is a motivational coach who empowers her clients to achieve extraordinary and sustainable results. With her unique ‘inside out’ approach, she partners with leaders, entrepreneurs, visionaries and businesses, engaging them in a creative process that inspires them to maximise their individual or team potential.

Will this event be Covid-secure?
We have put in place a range of measures across our operations to best protect our employees, partners, contractors and guests. We will keep all attendees up to date with the latest safety precautions by email ahead of the event.
What happens if the government restrictions around physical events change before this events take place?
If any changes to the agenda of the event occur after you have booked your ticket, we will notify you by email.
What happens if the event needs to be cancelled?
If for any reason we need to cancel the physical event , we will give all ticket holders the opportunity to transfer their ticket to a virtual event or request a full refund.
What will happen when I arrive at the venue?
You will be checked in by a member of staff at the door in a Covid-secure way, where you will have the opportunity to hand in any belongings to the cloak room and sanitise your hands.
Do I need to bring my ticket to the event?
You will need to bring your ticket to the event but this can be on your phone or printed. You will receive an email from Eventbrite which will include a PDF of your ticket. Please ensure you have this attachment to gain entry to the venue.
