BBC Children in Need give grants to organisations working with children and young people aged 18 years and under experiencing disadvantage through:
· Illness, distress, abuse or neglect
· Any kind of disability
· Behavioural or psychological difficulties
· Living in poverty or situations of deprivation
They fund organisations working to combat this disadvantage and make a real difference to children and young people’s lives. The grant programmes are open to charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Juliet Williams, Regional Officer for the South and West, will present the
funding programme, be on hand to welcome potential applicants, as well as
answer questions and talk through proposals on a 1-to-1 basis.
