BBC Connected Social: Sport

BBC Connected Social is a part of the BBC Connected Studio

Its a chance to learn, debate and socialise on topics closely aligned to the BBC’s strategic themes.

The Build Studio for December is centred around Sport.

This time we have a great panel looking at the use of social media and technology, in the role of informing and engaging sports fans and beyond.

After a great summer of sport, how can minority sports best capitalise on social media and the internet to invite and engage more people to take part. This and other questions will be raised and discussed with our great  panel, which includes...

  • Cait O'Riordan - BBC Sports
  • Alex Sexton - England Netball (Unfortunately not able to make it due to rail problems)
  • Hugo Sharman - Deltatre
  • Chris Garrett - Abstraktion

The panel will be chaired by Martin Bryant of The Next Web and Manchester TechHub founder

Please register for a standard ticket as you will need this to gain entry into the Quay House BBC Building.
Please wait in the Quay House reception for a member of staff to come and collect you.

Parking is limited around MCUK, its is recommended to take the Tram to the Media City stop on the Eccles Line.
