10:00 - 11:00: Data Journalism: The State of the Art - BBC and Beyond
What is the state of the art, science and craft of data journalism inside the BBC and beyond. Hear from Phil Fearnley on how data is at the heart of myBBC's plans for the future of the BBC, from Kenneth Cukier fresh from TED on why 'Big Data is better data' and Robin Pembrooke on how crucial analytics are to the BBC’s approach to data journalism.
