BBC Journalism Pre-Application Workshops- APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED!
Wed 29 March 2017, 12:00 – 17:00 BST
If you want to increase your chances of successfully applying for a role at the BBC then attending our pre-application workshops might be just the boost you need. It can be difficult to stand out from the crowd, particularly in a highly competitive job market. That’s why we’ve designed a day that offers advice on creating a great CV, improving your interview techniques, navigating BBC application processes and the chance to take part in simulated assessment activities. Attending the day certainly doesn’t guarantee you a job at the BBC but it will give you a better understanding of the types of skills and experiences required, and help you to submit your best application in the future. This day is ideal for: Experienced professionals who are interested in applying for roles at the BBC • Have you applied for a job at the BBC but haven’t been successful in landing a role? • Want to find out where you may have been going wrong in the application process? • Interested in hearing what hiring managers are really looking for from applicants? If you are interested in attending this free day then you must at least be a trained broadcast assistant or journalist with experience in either newspapers, TV, radio, online or social media. If the above applies to you then you are cordially invited to join us on; Wednesday 29th March in Salford for the Journalism Workshop The workshop will be held at our BBC office in MediaCity Salford, for a day of job insights, workshops and application feedback. To register your interest please send a CV and tell us in 100 words or less why you would like to attend the day: firstname.lastname@example.org Please do not contact the BBC directly regarding this opportunity – Hyden Talent will be recruiting for the day.
