Panellists talk about their role in the creation of the Black Country edition of the BBC Radio 4 programme 'Tongue and Talk - The Dialect Poets'. Join City of Wolverhampton Poet Laureate Emma Purshouse as she natters to actress, writer and series producer Catherine Harvey, poet and playwright Brendan Hawthorne (Poet Laureate for Wednesbury), singer songwriter and poet Heather Wastie, along with dialect expert Esther Asprey. Expect discussion about our local vernacular, with some Black Country dialect poetry and song thrown into the mix.
