Overview
The Cancer Studies Research Group based at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust, play a major role in allow Registrars in Clinical & Medical Oncology to fulfil the academic side of their training.
The medical statistics workshop is intended as a revision back up following on from the FRCR 1 teaching week 1-5 December 2025 - further details of which can be here.
However, if you have attended statistics teaching in your own hospital and require a revision session before the FRCR 1 RCR examinations, you can register via Eventbrite to attend the Revision Workshop as a standalone event.
Teaching method
MCQs with links to blank quiz questions to aid FRCR part 1 revision. The revision workshop will run virtually on zoom with University of Manchester Biostatistician lecturer Matthew Parkes. Zoom links to attend the event will be emailed to candidates upon Eventbrite registration. The workshop will be recorded and SharePoint links to the recordings and blank MCQs will be available to registered candidates post-event until September 2026 in line with the RCR FRCR 1 Spring and Autumn examinations.
