Event description

Description

This Genesis Fringe event is offered by the BBSRC LIDo PhD programme's 3i (industry, internships, impact) committee, to pull together representatives from industry and academia and to showcase the wide possibilities in training and collaboration between the LIDo partner institutes (UCL, KCL, QMUL, RVC, LSHTM, Birkbeck) and the biotech sector at large.

Who should attend?

Those who would like to start dialogues leading to increased collaboration on the themes of research, and of employability in the biotech and pharma sector at large.

In attendance will be research-active academics from the LIDo institutes, representative student ambassadors of the programme, and LIDo management and committee members, as well as corporate outreach and other industry-leaning representatives of the LIDo member institutes.

  • Do you want to learn more about hosting our premier STEM PhD student talent, via LIDo's 3-month BBSRC-subsidised internships?

  • Do you want to access the best of academic insight, to maintain your projects at the state-of-the-art in research?

  • Do you want to extend the chances of forging novel research alliances leading to BBSRC-backed iCASE applications with excellent London-based academic teams?

If any of the above are on your radar, then please put this Genesis Fringe event in your diary, and to avoid disappointment, don't delay in registering your interest. Due to venue constraints, we must impose a strict limit on registration numbers.
