This course will introduce members to the processing mechanisms for in/outward shipping, and counts to Chamber Foundation Award Training

About this Event

Inward Processing Relief (IPR) helps business be more competitive by allow companies to obtain relief on customs duties & import VAT.

Learners will:

  • Have an understanding of the advantages of claiming IPR or OPR
  • Have an understanding of the customs regime and the “tariff”
  • Have an understanding of the documentation required to claim IPR & OPR

Each of the Chamber Training Courses can be reimbursed by the UK’s “Customs Grant Scheme”, Businesses that complete customs declarations now have until 31 January 2021 to apply for grant funding to help them increase their capacity to do so.

Chamber International Training Course will be up to three hours, with breaks and questions, aimed to help business become trade compliant no matter where you are in your export journey.

Completing six of the ten modules will entitle the learner to the internationally recognised BCC Foundation Award in International Trade.

Each session will be followed by an assessment, which must be returned within 24 hours.
