The BCI is pleased to invite you to the launch of the 2020 BCI Emergency Communications Report.

About this Event

In its sixth year the BCI, together with F24, is releasing the findings on emergency communications across sectors and geographical regions in this insightful report. We will discuss the major findings of the report and will give you the opportunity to ask questions to the authors and experts in the field.

Panelists:

• John Davison, F-24 UK Managing Director

John Davison is the Managing Director of F-24 UK Ltd. in London, England. With his many years of senior sales experience in business continuity, he is responsible for corporate development at the company’s British subsidiary. John Davison manages F24’s London operations with passion and dedication driving forward the success of F24’s products for alerting, crisis management and critical communication on an international scale.

• Wael ElNemr MBCI, Global Business Continuity Manager, Vodafone Group

Wael ElNemr is a Global Business Continuity Manager in Vodafone Group with over 13 years of Business Continuity and Crisis Management experience. He leads the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Business Continuity program for Vodafone Group. He also supported the implementation of Business Continuity software across 23 Local markets and Group entities achieving a level of BC program standardization globally. Prior to joining group, Wael was leading Business Continuity and crisis management in Vodafone Egypt, he supported the implementation of various projects which provide a very strong resilience foundation for the company. Wael provided leadership in managing many crisis events including power outages, fires, telecom outages and most notably the civil unrest following 2011 revolution in Egypt.

• Catherine Thomas MBCI, Research and Insight Manager, The BCI

Catherine comes from a resilience background in central and local government with a particular focus in public health and community incident response. She holds a Masters degree in Forensic Investigation from Cranfield University and a BSc in Forensic Investigation from Canterbury Christ Church University. She has a background in research from an analytical and qualitative perspective and has a particular interest in delving into the qualitative detail behind our surveys through investigative research
