Description

BCI Northern Ireland Forum Spring Meeting

As we countdown towards UK exiting the EU there is still a lack of clarify if there is going to be a deal and whether 29th March 2019 is the exit date. Unfortunately for most businesses and industries, decisions have already been made with significant impact on financial and non-financial resources in order to have some level of resilience. The question is how much more irrevocable ‘strategic decisions’ that needs to be made as we countdown towards the exit date and how sure are we that the Business Continuity that we have put in place is ‘adequate’ given the multitude of external risk factors that is outside of our control?

The purpose of this conference is to hear from the experts the latest on Brexit in relation to BCM and for industries and businesses of common interest to share learning to better prepare for the uncertainties relating to Brexit.

It is now time to register for this free BCI NI Forum conference on ‘Brexit Preparedness’, which is open to all BCI members and non-members in the island of Ireland.

When: Thursday 21st February 2019

Where: Allstate Northern Ireland, 10 Mays Meadow, Belfast, BT1 3PH

The venue is just beside Belfast Lanyon Place Railway Station and we will be starting at 12:00 for registration and sandwiches with a 12:30 start and finish at 3.30pm. Those who are free to stay until 4.15pm can enjoy a presentation on Allstate’s Business Continuity Management and a short tour of the building.

We have two keynote speakers in the first session. The first subject will be the “BCI Brexit Preparedness Report” and the key note speaker will be Rachael Elliott, Head of Thought Leadership at The Business Continuity Institute.
