About this event

Business • Finance

BCIC is the industrial cluster for the West Midlands, covering the Black Country, Birmingham, Coventry and neighbouring counties. Our 5,210 established businesses supply all the UK's strategic industrial sectors, employ 75,000 skilled people and contribute £5Bn to the economy.

At this event Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands, will join us to explain how BCIC is central to his West Midlands Growth Plan. You'll hear from regional businesses who've benefitted from the £50M that BCIC secured in capital grants for regional manufacturers.

Representatives of national and regional government, the energy sector and others will set out their visions setting out how they will support established regional businesses to compete and grow globally and reduce industrial energy costs. We'll also hear how other industrial clusters across the UK and Europe are supporting their regions.
