Your project on a page

At this small group session on Thursday 30 September, we'll work on developing a Theory of Change document for your Yardley community group or project.

A Theory of Change is a simple document which shows on one page what your group or project does: its inputs, activities, outputs and outcomes. It's a great tool for both planning and evaluating.

When it is complete, you can use your Theory of Change to explain your group's work and its value to team members, beneficiaries of your group, potential funders, or other people who are interested in what you do.

Creating the document will also help you plan how you will demonstrate and evaluate the impact of your group's work.

We recommend this session to people from small community groups who are looking to reflect on current activities and plan for the future. It will also help people from larger groups who want to reflect on and evaluate the areas of work they are responsible for.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Birmingham Community Matters (BCM) helps people to start and run small voluntary or community organisations. We do this through our 'peer to peer network', by bringing people together to share their knowledge and experience.

Our motto is: 'Everyone has something to learn and everyone has something to teach'.

--------------------------------

We will be using Zoom to run this session, and videos will be on. Zoom is simple to use from your browser or your smartphone, we will send you a link and password to access the session closer to the date of the session.

If you want to, you can just listen in without taking part, but you are also very welcome to (and we hope you will!) ask questions and make comments using the chat function. If you're nervous about video calling please don't worry. Get in touch with us via info@birminghamcommunitymatters.org.uk, we are here to help you.

--------------------------------

If you register and later find you can't attend, no problem. Please email us at info@birminghamcommunitymatters.org.uk so we can allocate your place to someone else.
