This course deals with two important questions: why should I choose agile? How can I implement it? More specifically we will explore the frameworks available and discuss which ones you should consider based on your needs. Jose Casal, BCS’s Agile Foundations lead creator, will answer these questions over 2 days, leaving you with a much better understanding of agile and its principles.
Modern businesses operate in a constant state of changing requirements and uncertain environments. Traditional plan-based approaches that work in other sectors at best underperform and at worst fail under these conditions. However, this is where agile thrives. Agile is conceptually simple but hard to implement well. This course is designed for all members of the software development cycle including developers, testers, product and project managers, ScrumMasters, Product Owners, business analysts and agile coaches.
This course has no set pre-requisites and is valuable for all experience levels.
At the end of this 2-day course you will be ready to take the BCS Agile Foundation exam and get your certification. The examination will be a 1-hour multiple-choice test administered at the end of the second day.
After successfully passing the exam you will receive your BCS Agile Foundations certificate and a 1-year membership to BCS.

Cancellations & Refunds
A full refund will be issued if you cancel your registration at least 10 working days before the event start date. After this period, the following fees will be deducted from the booking fee.
5-10 working days’ notice: 50% of course fee
0-5 working days’ notice: 100% of course fee
Replacing delegates: this can be done at no extra cost
Postponing a booking to another date: this is free providing it is requested at least 10 working days before the event start date, in which case a 20% fee will be charged.
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel this course if there are insufficient registrations. If this is the case, you will be notified 5 working days before the course start date. In this case, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. We will not be responsible for any other costs incurred.
