SYNOPSIS

This year, BCS NI are delighted to welcome Tadhg Hickey, Head of AI & Digital Ethics and Policy at the Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC) to deliver our annual keynote presentation.

Tadhg will be discussing his experience of driving the responsible and ethical use of AI, both through the AICC and work with organisations in Northern Ireland and beyond. Light refreshments will be provided before the event.

The BCS NI Annual General Meeting, which BCS members are welcome to attend, will take place before the keynote presentation.

Following the talk, we will present the winners of our 2025 IT Educator of the Year (Organisations) award.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Tadhg's role involves developing guidelines and policies to ensure that AI is used transparently, accountably and fairly, ensuring that products and services integrate AI both effectively and ethically.

Tadhg has a background in Law and has won several awards in this field, as well as working with global organisations to implement governance for ethics in AI.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
