About this event

Community • Other

Our AGM and 'first year as a CIO' end of year celebration is being held in East Bristol at our home location of Easton Community Centre.

What we are doing

The first part of this session will be the AGM. AGM stands for an annual general meeting. This is a yearly meeting which by law we have to have but which is an opportunity for members to hear about BDEF's performance, discuss important decisions and make sure there is proper governance of the organisation.

The second part of this session will be the 'first year as a CIO' end of year celebration. We will be looking at what BDEF and BDEF's community has achieved, including our brand refresh and the outcome of our theory of change. We will be also looking forward to what we might be able to do in 2026.

We would love to have as many members for this session as possible to make sure that what we are doing as an organisation, reflects what our community wants us to be doing.

This is our last Members session of the year (after our three members forums) and it is the last step for the year in holding our sessions across all parts of Bristol, after our start in South Bristol in March.

Who can be involved

This meeting is open to all BDEF (Bristol Disability Equality Forum) CIO* members and, as ever, we can't wait to see you there!

If you aren’t yet a member but would like to get involved, join us as a member here. Then we would love to see you in December at Easton Community Centre.

This is a chance to connect with fellow members, share insights and ideas, hear about BDEF news and be part of shaping the future of our community.
