Event description
The day allows you to take your riding skills to a level that will help to improve your safety and enjoyment.

About this Event

The aim is to reduce the number of bikers being killed or injured on the roads.

Whether you ride a sports, classic, or tourer, young or older – if you have a full licence and live or ride in Buckinghamshire you’re welcome at a Be a Better Biker day.

The workshops include:

• A brief 45 minute introduction of the principles of advanced riding including:

• manoeuvring

• overtaking

• cornering techniques

• On-road assessment with MKAM observers of approximately 2 hours

• A review of the on road sessions discussing lessons learnt

The workshops for 2019 are in Great Holm Fire Station and start at 09:30 and is expected to finished around 14:00 – 14:30

Cost is £20 per biker which includes a non-refundable booking fee.

There are only 12 places available per session and places are booked on a first come first served basis.

At the end of the session each candidate will receive a copy of the book “How to Be a Better Rider” published by IAM Roadsmart.
