About this event

Hobbies • Books

Join Pigeon and Poppy on a litter-picking adventure at Giggs Hill Green, then head back to Dittons Library for an interactive storytelling of A Fearsome Flutter at the Natural History Museum — book 2 in the Pigeon and Poppy Adventure series!

Afterwards, children will create their very own Earth Hero character using household recyclable materials — sparking imaginations and inspiring eco-friendly stories of their own!

Stick around for a book-signing where you can meet the author and grab a copy to take home. It’s a wonderful way to support the series and continue the adventure at home, encouraging children to explore themes of kindness, courage, and caring for our planet and also disability awareness as the boy who saves Pigeon at the end of the story is partially-sighted.
