BE CLOSER SESSIONS AT WATERCRESS FARM

Aimed at a smaller group of up to 12 children/young people, identified by you, who would particularly benefit from spending time connecting with nature, once a term.

BOOKING DETAILS

Please book 6 visits for your class/classes as follows.

  • One visit in Term 1
  • One visit in Term 2
  • One visit in Term 3
  • One visit in Term 4
  • One visit in Term 5
  • One visit in Term 6

We have very limited availability and these sessions are only available to a few settings each year. If a school fails to book all six visits or if they cancel more than once, their place may be offered to another setting.

By visiting six times over the school year, your group will experience an immersive experience designed to enhance your student's connection to themselves, each other and nature: building confidence, self-esteem and a sense of wellbeing, as a part of nature.

ABOUT SESSIONS

Our BE Closer programme is an immersive nature experience designed for school nurture groups, charities and community organisations. By joining us more frequently, people have the opportunity to connect with nature, develop confidence, and build a strong sense of wellbeing.

"If we want children to flourish, to become truly empowered, then let us allow them to love the earth before we ask them to save it.”

David Sobel

"The students had an amazing time. They've come into school today tired out and buzzing about the day; laughing about their memories and asking when they can come back.

You were so understanding and patient with them and I really liked the combination of education about nature, and introductions to topics such as sharing and mindfulness.’ Broadoak Secondary School
