Event description

Description

Calling London creative companies and sole-traders! We want to help you find international buyers. Tell us how you would use our grants to secure a sale from overseas, and you could be on your way to your chosen tradeshow, event, or meeting with help from DIT.

What do you need to do?

Tell us what you want to do, by simply registering here on Eventbrite, to get an international sale. We will look at your idea and if we think it could work, you will be invited to attend a half-day training event, at the end of which, your grant will be confirmed. Please note Terms and Conditions apply.

How we will help your company:

  • Grants awarded will be either £200 for European sales activity or £500 for rest of world.
  • DIT free-of-charge, training event to help you negotiate and sell overseas.
  • A telephone 1-2-1 with a DIT International Trade Adviser to discuss your successful pitch.

Who is this opportunity for?

London-based small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) from the Creative and Media sector that are enthusiastic about finding new buyers overseas.

What will the training focus on?

We are keen to hear from companies that:

  • have never exported before or;
  • have not won an export order for twelve months or;
  • have won an export order in the past twelve months and are working on their export plan or;
  • want to increase their exports as a proportion of their overall turnover (current export turnover 10% or less) or;
  • want to increase the number of countries they export to (currently exporting to 3 countries or less).
