Thu 19 January 2017, 15:30 – 17:30 GMT
Be gone the passive learner!
This staff meeting session, which will take place in your own school, explores how children learn best. Staff will have the opportunity to experience a bank of active learning strategies that span all ages and curriculum subjects to promote active learning in every classroom.
Discussion with the course leader prior to the training is essential to create a bespoke session tailored to your specific school needs. The length of the session can vary to suit your school.
Session Leader - Emma Davies
Emma has taught across the primary age range and currently teaches in a Year 5 class at Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy in York. She is a SLE for the Ebor Teaching School Alliance and also the Primary Science Specialist for the Ebor Academy Trust.
