Kanika Kitchlu-Connolly, Career Coach and Mentor

Kanika is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years’ experience of working in international law firms based out of the City, the last 5 of which were as a partner at TLT LLP.

Over the course of her career, Kanika has gained recognition for her work as a restructuring and insolvency lawyer across many of the legal directories including Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and Who’s Who Legal. She is widely known within the London insolvency market and has been invited to speak at industry events in Portugal, India, London and Dublin. During her time as a partner at TLT, Kanika co-led the firm’s India practice and also co-led the firm’s Ethnic Diversity Network.

Throughout her legal career, developing and mentoring young talent has been something that Kanika has always loved and what she is now focusing on full time, having left the law in October 2024. Kanika’s passion for coaching and mentoring and investing in the next generation is clear from the work she does as a volunteer sitting on the governing board of a local girls’ secondary school, working as a mentor with both GROW and IntoUniversity as well as working with another local girls’ school with their T Level legal studies students. Kanika is keen to work with juniors and help them navigate the world of work, with direct insights from someone who has been in senior leadership and understands the demands.
