Be inspired! Talk with Tony Meloto

In one of his rare trips to the UK, Tony Meloto, the inspiring and enigmatic Founder and Chairman of Gawad Kalinga (GK) in the Philippines, will be in London on April 27, and will be hosting an exclusive talk followed by a lunch at London Business School.
Tony Meloto, accompanied by Fabien Courteille, a local social entrepreneur, will talk about his journey and efforts in successfully tackling poverty through inclusive development and social enterprises.
A true man for others, Tony Meloto has inspired his family, his fellow citizen and thousands of international volunteers towards the creation of shared prosperity, where the poor can thrive and attain their fullest potential, so that together we can all look forward to a better future for the generations to come.
Tony Meloto has been recognized as a distinct example for «transformational leadership». He has written several book and has won numerous awards such as the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship (USA/Oxford), the Social Entrepreneur of the World award from the World Entrepreneurship Forum (France), the "Social Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Schwab Foundation. He is also a regular speaker at several forums, such as the World Economic Forum in Davos.
His organization, GK, is a global movement that builds integrated, holistic and sustainable communities in slum areas to help eliminate extreme poverty in the Philippines. GK’s mission is to end poverty for 5 million families by 2024, and so far built over 3,500 communities and provided housing to more than 1 million families.
