Event description

Description

Are you a freelancer or small business working in the creative industries? Have you reached a ceiling where you are finding it difficult to grow beyond your current client base and often struggle to find meaningful, creatively fulfilling work that generates a consistent income?

If so, this event is for you!

I'm guessing you decided to start your business because you wanted to do work you enjoyed and create something meaningful? I'm also willing to guess that, while you have created some projects you're proud of, it's not as easy as you first imagined? There is a vast amount of information available around business and marketing, which can be overwhelming, to say the least. So where do you even start?

Firstly, don't worry, you are not alone. In fact, this is true for the majority of freelancers and small businesses in the creative industries. It can feel like you are in a constant battle between fun, creatively fulfilling work and paying the bills.

The problem is that there are now more freelancers and small businesses than ever before and most have very similar services. This makes it really hard to stand out from the competition and win high-value clients. We all want to do fun creative things that we enjoy, but if you can't stand out, you just look like everyone else.

So what's the solution?

With more than half a decade of experience working with creative professionals, it's not the first time I have heard this story. I've spent the past few years creating systems and methods that have helped freelancers and small businesses to go from undervalued and underpaid to oversubscribed and profitable. By identifying your unique selling point you can get really clear on the value you bring to your client. Not only will this help you to stand out from the competition, but it will allow you to charge for accordingly. We are all unique and have a huge amount of value to offer, but most of us aren't utilising our insights and experience to its full potential.

What will you get from this workshop?

In the workshop, I will be sharing tried and tested methods that have helped my clients go from overworked, undervalued and stressed out, to creatively fulfilled and oversubscribed.

By the end of the workshop, you will have the tools and resources to:

  1. Stand out in an oversaturated and competitive market

  2. Find clients you really want to work with and get paid what you ask

  3. Step off the income roller coaster and create a consistent cash flow

  4. Do work that brings you fulfilment and doesn't just pay the bills

Who is the workshop for?

This is an exclusive event for talented, ambitious freelancers and small businesses working in the creative industries who want to take their business to the next level. You should have a strong commercially viable portfolio and have experience working as a freelancer with existing clients. You need to be willing to try new things and step outside of your comfort zone.

Who is the workshop NOT for?

The workshop isn't for recent graduates who don't have a portfolio of work. This is also not for anyone looking for the silver bullet or get rich quick scheme. These are strategies I have spent years developing and testing, I have seen them create amazing results for people, but they require time, effort and ambition.

*** This event has a very limited capacity, please only apply if you are serious about creating a consistent income from meaningful work. If you are unsure if you can make the event, please cancel your ticket! ***
