This event is aimed at women who want to be the very best they can be in both their professional and personal lives.
Surveys about our fears commonly show fear of public speaking at the top of the list. Apparently our fear of standing up in front of a group and talking is so great that we fear it more than death! Yet, people judge how good we are at what we do by how confident we are when we communicate with them. This event will feature a public speaking masterclass, enabling you to communicate with impact and confidence.
Emotional intelligence (EI) has four parts: self-awareness, managing our emotions, empathy, and social skill. There are many tests of emotional intelligence, and most seem to show that women tend to have an edge over men when it comes to these basic skills for a happy and successful life. That edge matters more than ever in the workplace, and the advantages of high EI when it comes to team working and leadership positions cannot be underestimated. This interactive keynote will provide an introduction to this fascinating area of research giving you a better understanding of the subject and an insight into why it is important to all of us. It will also include top tips to help you develop your Emotional Intelligence and be happier.
