Join us for a powerful and interactive workshop designed to help Youth Practitioners recognize, address & challenge racism in all its forms.
Who can Attend ?
- This 3 hour anti-racism training session is desgned specifically for youth practitioners. Whether you're a youth worker, teacher, mentor, coach, social worker, youth group leader or working for young people, this session will provide you with essential knowledge and practical strategies for addressing racism and promoting inclusivity in your work with young people.
Why attend?
You will learn:
- The meaning of racism and anti-racism, and how they show up in society and organizations
- How unconscious bias and privilege influence interactions and decision-making. This training is open to anyone committed to learning, reflecting, and taking positive steps toward equity and inclusion.
- Practical tools to challenge racism and create inclusive, equitable spaces
- Strategies to become an active ally and support anti-racist practices in your community or workplace and support young people.
