Beach Clean

Come and discover the intense satisfaction of making a difference to one of our beaches. The northside of the Braighe, just three miles east of Stornoway has lots of parking, easy access, and a tremendous range of wildlife to be seen on the shore and in the rock pools. Before going onto the beach, listen to a safety briefing, and we will provide gloves, bags, and grabbers etc. As well as clearing the litter from the beach, we will need volunteers to help sort, weigh and log what we collect, recycling what we can.”This event is weather dependent. In wild, wet and windy weather conditions it may not be safe to proceed so the event may have to be rescheduled.The beach clean is being delivered by Clean Coast Hebrides.
