About this event

A perfect introduction to stone setting, in a class where you will get to make and take home memories you have both found and (or) created.

Either bring along your own sea glass or choose from our lovely collection! This class includes the price of silver to set a 10-20mm stone and make a unique statement ring. For stones bigger than this, please contact us here at the school by the 4th of September at the latest to ensure the materials are available for you on the day, and to pay for additional materials in advance.

During this class, you will use traditional silversmithing techniques to create your piece learning both the fundamentals and more advanced techniques. Although we cover a lot of ground in this class, it is still suitable for complete beginners as we will guide you through very step. Intermediates who want to learn bezel setting will also find this class challenging and rewarding!

Tea, coffee, and biscuits also provided.

We schedule one hour for lunch but food is not provided, so please bring your lunch, or you can eat at one of the lunch spots less than a 2 minute walk from the school.
